Longspan Shelving systems are very versatile storage solutions, which are primarily designed for manual picking and a low level boxed storage of medium and small materials. Weight capacity for these systems can very depending on your nees with some systems being capable of holding in excess of 1,000kg.
Cantilever
Racking
Cantilever Racks consist of vertical columns with adjustable cantilever arms, which the products are placed across, these arms can be set at different heights depending on your requirements. This system can be used either as a single sided arrangement or the system can be utilised by attaching arms to both sides.
Anti-Collapse
Mesh
Anti-collapse Mesh is a product that can be fitted to the back of both Longspan racking and Pallet racking to prevent push through of products. Fitted to the rear of a storage structure, it forms a safety barrier to the rear of the structure to protect working areas, walkways and office units as well as being used as a way to protect walls and warehouse structures being damaged by forklifts as stock is loaded and unloaded for the racks.

Netting
Safety netting is rapidly becoming a product of choice as apposed to the more traditional Anti-collapse meshing system. This product is incredibly versatile with many applications, not just for the back of pallet racking but used as barriers, cordoning off areas, safety application for multi level systems and to enclose mezzanine work areas.

& Handrails
These protective devices can help in a number of ways, not only in protecting the racking but used to help designate areas and prevent forklift and equipment from entering pedestrianised areas. They are a great way to reduce damage at the end of racking structures where truck traffic is at its highest.

Decking
Timber decking is suitable to help support pallets and help pallets sit safely across Pallet racking beams, making loading and unloading easier for drivers and so reduce loading times and improving safety.
Mesh
Decking
Mesh decks work in the same way as timber decks but have some great advantages. With a hard wire mesh construction they allow a lot more light to pass through which is ideal if lighting is a little low. Whereas wooden decking obviously comes with a fire risk there is no such issues with mesh decking.

Levels
Chipboard levels are primarily used for loose box storage as part of a shelving structure for picking levels. It can be used in conjunction with longspan shelving or with adjustable pallet racking.

Bars
Support bars are used between beams to provide extra support for undersized and unusual sized loads, they can also add support to weak or heavy pallets.

Pallet Racking inspections are a a vital part of the safe running of a warehouse and is a statutory requirement under Health and safety Legislation. This inspection should be carried out at least once a year by a SEMA Approved Racking Inspector “SARI.”
